Who is the President of Sri-Lanka? Is it Mahinda Rajapakse or Wimal Weerawansa? It looks like the peace mask worn by Mahinda is soon going to be pulled off him by Weerawamsa. Weerawansa is soon to be recognised as Dutugemunu of the present time and aspiring sinhala leader to save his country from being divided. But this Dutugemunu has not been to vanni to see for himself how another superb administration is being carried out by Prabhaharan the Tamil Leader. For that matter all the shouting communal minded sinhalese from the south of Sri-Lanka and from all the foreign countries like USA, Canada,UK and other nations would want to go and learn the beautiful set-up of vanni administrator. He is capable of becoming a great world leader beside vanni and that is a fact. The time has come for Mahinda to remove his false peace mask off him and show the real face as a tamil killer and join hands with Wimal Weerawansa and start the war before the Geneva 2 and towards that goal he wants to make Rajapakse to yeild to his sweet motherland saviour portrait which he is deligently painting. Mahinda why not give him a hand by taking off your peace mask and start the war immediately.The moment that happens you will become the twin brother of Weerawansa and end as destroyers of the sweet motherland dream that would lay as a waste land .

Mangala Samaraweera must be happy with the proscription of LTTE purported to have been instituted in Canada which has become a home for 3 LaKhs of tamils from srilanka who sought refuge after 83. Mangala is describing prabhaharan as not equivalent to Mandela or to be treated as freedom fighter but to be treated as a terrorist banned by India,america and now canada and many others. Why on earth is this man not banning this group in lanka and why is the government in talks with such an unwanted terrorist. The polls show a clear victor in prabhaharan as the undisputed leader of tamils as much as mangala as elected by his constituency of voters. If magala is a legitimate representative of the sinhala people why cant he live with tamils choosing prabhaharan with 90 percent tamil support. If he thinks that he can destroy prabhaharan and LTTE stop the talks and go to war with LTTE and see for yourself the end result of such a war. Mangala wants history repeated by an early war that he is intigating.

The latest killing–that of Vigneswaran in Trincomalee, shows once again, no hope from Sri Lanka. Do whatever Tamils need to do. In this process, Tamils also beware of those stooges like Karuna, Douglas, et al and their allies, who distort even the cold blooded murder by their allies of an innocent man.

Peace talks? What talks? Once Sri Lanka is brought to its knees, we Tamils can focus on solving the issue of the LTTE’s human rights violations. The same people who did not tolerate Sinhala racist oppression will not tolerate the LTTE’s alleged oppression when the time is right.

Under Chandrika’s dynasty the SLG spent a lot of money in propaganda works overseas in tamil bashing and tiger bashing and these treacherous works are continuing under Rajapakse also. The name of the game is sinhalese are good and tamils and the tigers are bad. The RAW and all the CSIS and international intelligentia are in the support of SLG in the tamil bashing and LTTE bashing. The tamil diaspora who were forced out of the island in the fierce killings of the 83 and 90 periods are a shameful story of the sinhala killings that took place in srilanka. If the international community cannot see this truth and would think that tamils are not forced out of their residences lands and homes to seek refuge overseas it is just an eye wash that the international community are playing by the sinhala forces to ignore the tamil problems. Unless a strong arm of the foreign powers are seen in action srilanka government will continue to kill tamils. Urgent action by the international forces are needed to save the tamils if LTTE is not their choice. The sinhala government has only one agenda and that is to destry the tamils as many as possible.

Solheim, please carry on your good work regardless. The JVP & JHU are novice to politics, they will learn the hard way when they are kicked out at the next General Election, a barking dog never bites and all stray dogs bark at the moon, it can do nothing to the moon. Please keep up your good work for the sake of your country.

Its easy to sit in your comfy armchairs and bash the LTTE. Please take a few moments to think why the Tamils had to resort to violence. Neither the SL forces nor the LTTE is innocent when it comes to the tactics adopted in their fight against each other. This is war. Even the mighty USA does’n conform to international standards when it comes to war. This is evident both in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The LTTE has worked sincerely towards peace in the last few years, however the SL government actions throught the CFA period has been to undermine the LTTE.

The GOSL has scuttled the peace process by:

Engineering the Karuna split (Read interviews by UNP MPs before elections)
Arming the Karuna group
Aiding the paramilitary groups to attck the LTTE
Refusing to discuss the ISGA (doesn’t have to accept but discuss)
Not implementing the PTOMS
Going back on exploring federal solution as solution
Sticking to the unitary constitution
Setting conditions for allowing LTTE polital cadre to work in GOSL areas

In the last four years if the GOSL had focused its energy on finding a durable solution with the LTTE instead of undermining the LTTE we would be half way down the road to peace.

It is hurting to read an Indian website label a website run by Tamils ‘ProSinhala’. Let us all support the Tamil side and provide constructive criticism of their actions where necessary, enabling them to move in the right direction in getting the rights of Tamil people. Let us not gang up with the sinhala state and go on pointless LTTE bashing.
